The Malawi Bureau of Standards (MBS) is the National Standards Body for Malawi, responsible for the:
- preparation and publication of Malawi standards;
- promotion of standards and quality in Malawi;
- implementation of Malawi standards through relevant conformity assessment programmes;
- National Metrology System.
